Our Mission & Purpose

The Fannin County Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible for determining origin, cause, and circumstances of fires that occur in the unincorporated areas of Fannin County and the surrounding cities that request mutual aid service. The Fannin County Fire Marshal’s Office provides service to ensure fire and life safety and to reduce the risk of fire loss to the lives and property of the citizens of Fannin County.  It is the duty of the Fannin County Fire Marshal’s Office to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Fannin County, in accordance with Chapter 352 of the Texas Local Government Code and County policy. It is the Fire Marshal’s office goal to help keep Fannin County a clean safe place in which to live, work, visit and raise a family.
